🕹️ About Pexy.io – Because Pixel is sEXY!
Hi, I’m Kornel Kolma, and Pexy.io is my personal passion project – a lovingly curated collection of the best browser games from the past and present.
The name Pexy comes from a simple idea: Pixel is sexy. For those of us who grew up playing Flash games, loading DOS classics on floppy disks, or coding for retro platforms like the C64 and Plus/4, there’s a real charm in the pixels of the past – and they deserve to be seen, played, and preserved.
🎮 What is Pexy.io?
At its heart, Pexy.io is a curated browser game archive. Much like the Internet Archive’s game section, this platform aims to bring back the great classics – but with a personal twist. Every game is hand-selected, carefully documented, and made playable directly in your browser. No installations, no interruptions, and absolutely no in-game ads.
Whether it’s a forgotten Flash gem, a weird HTML5 indie, or a retro DOS platformer, if it’s fun or fascinating, I want it here.
✨ Why Pexy.io is Different
- 🧠 Curated Only – Every game is picked by hand, not scraped or bulk-uploaded.
- 🛑 No In-Game Ads – Just clean, uninterrupted gameplay.
- 📚 Detailed Game Pages – Background info, controls, trivia, and context.
- 📊 The Pexymeter – A live popularity indicator showing what visitors really enjoy.
- 📂 Game Fodder – A growing archive of manuals, game docs, and digital ephemera.
